Lily on the water

A lily from Gosford Japanese garden. In yoga a lily is a metaphor for the awakening soul seeing the light and opening the mind, whilst before it remained under water in darkness

Hi David :)

Amaazing photo of water lily in a charming back ground.

I noticed a lovely water lily that was fully open in the morning but by evening it closed and looked almost dead. Hence, the yoga interpretation is quite correct.

Many thanks for the great photo and the useful write up.

Have a good day :)
