All Saints Church Wittering Cambridgeshire England

This church is very old, it has both Norman and Saxon arches in it. Bear in mind the Normans invaded England in 1066 and the Saxons predate the Normans. I used to sing in this church's choir ( well I tried anyway!).

Hi David :)

I am amazed to see such an old church and astonished it is still there in all its glory. You don't see such majestic antique churches anymore. The suroundings look very calm and peaceful and there is a cemetry behind the church.

The historical background of the church you have narrated is quite interesting. I have read these names only in books and this is the first time I could see one of their places of worship.

To have sung in this historical church, 1000 years old, is a great privilege and a blessing.

Many thanks for sharing.

I also thank you for visiting my blog and posting a nice comment.

Have a wonderful day :)
