November 18th: Cradle Mountain and Lake, Tasmania

The photograph was taken on a trip two years ago whilst spending christmas in Tasmania. Like most mountainous areas the sun tends to shine in the morning and by the early afternoon the clouds and rain move in making bad light for photography. The area is spectacular and you can walk around the lake in one hour. The animals are so used to humans that they rarely panic. The reason is that they are just left alone. This area is very special. It also the start of the overland walk to Lake St Cair. The walk takes about one week. I have a wide screen vista shot if any wishes to contact me.
