NeuSchwanStein Castle Barvaria, Germany
This picture was taken using film and scanned with a low resolution scanner.
The castle is fantastic although the guided tours just push you through as quickly as possible, but still worth a visit. King Ludwig only lived in this castle for a very short while and it nearly sent him bankrupt, but it is now Germany's top tourist destination.

Blue Mountains West of Sydney
This scene is from the Blue mountains which are about 1200 M above sea level and 80km west of Sydney. This shot was taken on the Lockly's Pylon walk just before the path disappears dramatically down into the valley. The mountains are not real mountains but plateaus and canyons. The area is quite vast and has some very remote walks with crystal clear streams and yes you can drink from them
16th November Russell Falls Tasmania
This photograph was taken on a trip to Tasmania, the smallest state in Australia. The area receives over 2 meters of rain per year and has a climate similar to that of England. The water falls are called "Russell Falls" and are located about 40 mins drive north west of Hobart the states capital city.

14th November

Todays picture is from the Watagan mountains, about 30 mins from Gosford. There is not much water in the area but this dell offers a plesant palce for a picnic. The area is often used for the Australian motor rally as well as by motor cross riders.

13th November Gosford North of Sydney
Gosford is a city just north of Sydney where I live. It is a small town and does not have the ethnic mix that Sydney has , which is a shame really as the multiculture affect is what makes Australia the country it is today. It does have a lovely landscape as it is surrounded by wooded hills and faces the water.
The picture shown is the middle waterfall at Sommersby falls which is a
bout 15 minutes drive from the city.
The other pictures are of the coastline on the walk to Maitland bay which is a secluded beach only available to bush walkers.
Thought for the day "Am I my brothers keeper" I would like to hear from anyone who might have a view on this.
From my perspective we are all connected in some way or another especially via Karma.
I hope everyones day is peaceful

A Cool Sunny day in Sydney
My First Day
Well I have never done a blog before so it will be interesting to see what happens.
I enjoy many interests, amongst the many I like Photography (wilderness) , travel, reading and spirituality.
I hope to post many images from Australia ( where I live) and around the world from my travels.
The picture is of the lower Sommersby falls where I live, 45 km north of Sydney.
